The Trams are housed in large buildings, and are available to walk around and view, and there are also static displays putting the various trams in their respective historical context, along with examples of street furniture and period artifacts.

Not only are there static displays, but throughout the year the Museum runs passenger services on various trams on their own mile and a half of track, giving the visitor the opportunity to experience a real tram-ride.

As well as the tram displays and rides, there are picnic areas and a walk through the beautiful wooded countryside surrounding the Museum.
Along this walk you will find large wooden sculptures of animals and other objects, created by a local artist, and a stone maze and other decorative structures. From the main picnic area there are extensive views over the valley.
There is an outdoor childrens play area, as well as an indoor activity centre.
